Watercolor doesn't work very much like oil paint or acrylics. It works nothing at all like digital painting. As soon as I put the first line of paint down, the results are going to be somewhat organic and unpredictable, and I can only ever move the colors and textures in one direction. I'm willing to make changes halfway through, if they're feasible and won't require starting over. You'll have to trust my judgement on whether any given modification is feasible.

Payment Info

I'm skittish about having my real-life identity linked to my online activity, so the idea of using Paypal or Venmo is not appealing. Instead, I have a Ko-Fi page that I'll be using for this purpose. Ko-fi payments are not refundable, which is fine because I'm not doing refunds anyway. Let the buyer beware.

The way I'd like to do this is that we go back and forth to hash out details and pick references, then I doodle up a pencil sketch while it's all still easy to change, then you pay me, then I pull out the paints and finish it.

Turnaround Time

I work fast. I can go from references to a sketch in 20-30 minutes, and from a sketch to a fully rendered painting in about 30-60. My total turnaround time will not always fall within 90 minutes, because I have other things to do, but it'll usually be within the day.

Generative AI

I don't use it. If AI image references are what you have, I'll work with them for a starting point, but I'll be annoyed if you generate anything for the purpose of showing it to me.
